In this video I discuss 3 simple habits that you can add to your life starting today in order to lose 7 pounds in the next 7 days. These habits are simple additions to your current lifestyle and don't take a lot of time, just dedication to following through with them.



The first tip is to drink 50% of your body weight in ounces of water each day, that means if you weigh 150 pounds, you should drink 75 ounces of water each day (minimum) if not more. You should also consider adding an organic squeezed lemon to your water in the morning to enhance liver health, or add a spoonful or two of apple cider vinegar to your water. Doing both of these each day helps even more, I also recommend drinking out of a glass bottle instead of a plastic bottle because it's healthier for you overall, plastic contains BPA which leaks into the water which tricks your body into mimicking estrogen, a hormone you don't want more of i you are looking to burn body fat and lose weight.



The second tip I have is to walk each and every single day, walk as much as you can, at least a mile minimum. Walk 1, 2, 3 or more miles each day and track it on a mobile app that shows you how far you've walked and how many calories you've burned. This keeps you motivated to continue throughout the week and walking keeps your body in a fat burning state 24 hours a day, even while you're sleeping. It also moves the digestive organs back and forth, the colon, Intestines and other digestive organs need to move to allow the hydration (water) and nutrition in your food to do it's best job.



The third tip I have is to eat a big organic salad each day. Get a big box of mixed organic greens at your local grocery store and add cucumbers, celery, tomatoes, avocado, peppers, garlic, onions and other vegetables to the salad, preferably eat all organic and top it with an organic all natural non-dairy dressing. Adding this to your diet will give your body much needed fiber, vitamins, and minerals that will help to detoxify and heal your gut and digestive system.

This is a basic 30 minute elliptical workout based on the 30-20-10 rest pyramid (that I invented). It's very intense but that's what you need if you want to lose weight REAL FAST and keep it off for good!



If you do not have e an elliptical then just follow along with this workout on your treadmill, bike, glider or etc OR… you can even do it while running in place, jump rope or jumping jacks.



QUICK TIP: wear a weight vest or add 10% of your body weight to lose weight EVEN faster with this elliptical workout so for example… If you weigh 200 pounds then wear a 20 pound weight vest or use a book bag filled with weights because the more you weight = the more calories you will burn.



Here's the full workout laid out for you…



Go all out on the elliptical for 30 seconds

*****REST 30 seconds

Each set last 5 ½ minutes so do at least 2 sets for a 13 minute workout and as you get in shape do 3+ sets and as for losing 10 pounds ASAP…

And NO. you don't have to use any resistance level but in the workout you see me doing the resistance is set on the basic 3 (out of 10) but whatever resistance level you use I recommend that you don't set it too high and not to set it so low that you can't control how fast your legs move.



I'm also going at least 200 SPM (strides per minute) the entire workout which is about 80% of my max speed of 250-to-275 SPM but in the elliptical workout above I think was always over at least 220 SPM for the entire workout.



To get the best elliptical workout you can you want to do the same thing and stay at or over 80% of your max SPM the entire workout. TO get your max SPM just go all out as fast as you can for 15 seconds on the elliptical and then take that number and multiply it by .8



For example if your max SPM is 150 then 120 would be 80% and you want to stay over that the whole workout.

All of these meals are less than 15 mins in prep and cooking time.



OATMEAL

– ingredients: 200ml of water, 50-60g oatmeal, 1 tsp honey, handful of fruit any one of these is fine (blueberries, strawberries, 1/2 GRANNYSMITH apple, banana), 7 – 10 nuts (either walnut 1/2s or almonds)



Method: put the cold water and the oatmeal in a pan, then place on the stove stirring gently until oatmeal starts to bubble and you get a consistency that you like this usually takes only 5-10 minutes. place oatmeal in a bowl and your honey, fruits and nut and enjoy





PROTEIN SHAKE:

(disclaimer: protein shake is not for everyone, please consult you doctor or do plenty of research to make sure you get the RIGHT shake for your body) you can also make ths shake without the protein powder x



Ingredients: 150 ml soy milk, 100ml water, 1 banana, handful of strawberries, handful of blueberries (please note, I use only frozen fruits for the shake because it makes it ice cold and lovely – I buy fresh fruits and freeze them myself ), 1 tablespoon all natural peanut butter (try whole earth), 3 tablespoons 0% fat natural yoghurt and protein shake (optional)



method: put all the ingredients in a blender and blitz till smooth.



HALIBUT AND QUINOA @4:22



Ingredients: fresh halibut steaks (you can use cod, or haddock or another white non fatty fish), 50-60g quinoa, Kale, 2 cloves garlic, 1/2 lemon, chestnuts, 1 tbsp capers, 1 cal cooking spray oil, 1 tsp butter



Method: fish – season fish with salt, pepper, juice of half a lemon and put aside. Finely chop the garlic then spray a frying pan with the cooking spray (no more than 10 sprays), . . Now add the fish and saute on each side for about 2 mins. Next add the butter, garlic and capers to the pan. when the butter has melted and the capers and garlic have infused with the butter spoon the mixture over the fish. and you are done.



Quinoa and kale, I use merchant gourmet quinoa as it is already done for you al you need to do is warm it up. So spray a non stick frying pan with the cooking oil spray (3-4 sprays) let it warm up, then add quinoa and stir. After this stir in as much Kale as you like and a little splash of water to cook the cake and place lid on the pan for about 2-3 mins. After the Kale is tender add your chestnuts stir the pot to mix ingredients. and then serve. This should take n more than 5 mins.

This 10 minute bike weight loss workout can be done at home (that is if you have your own stationary bike) or in a gym. If you are using a gym bike make sure you set the timer up so it does not pause when you are taking the 10 second breaks.



TO lose 10 pounds as fast as possible = that it is very important that you follow this bike workout as is and try not to deviate too much from the bike weight loss workout you see me doing in the above video.



This bike workout is based off my 10/10 style of interval workouts which you can learn more about here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNhc2n1Agfw but basically what 10/10 interval training is (and using this bike workout as an example) is that you go all out for 10 seconds like pedaling on the bike as fast as you can s you saw or followed along with the video followed by you resting all out or lightly pedaling for another 10 seconds and you would repeat that process over and over for at least 10 minutes but no longer than 40 minutes so of course…



You can do this work out not only on a bike but also on an elliptical ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjHaLu6QkdI), treadmill ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ij2QKPsEth8) or any other prices of cardio equipment. You could also do this work out while performing jumping jacks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7w6M4bOXJ_s or ski steps: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJlTmMXe3Mc



It does not matter what kind of bike you have and as for the resistance level setting just keep it on a normal setting or use the lowest resistance setting as possible that will allow you to pedal super-fast to burn a lot more calories in a shorter period of time.

Beat your last workout meaning that if you burned 100 calories today with this bike workout then tomorrow shoot for 105 calories or track your distance. If you went a total of 3 miles then go for 3.1 or 3.3 miles the next workout because doing this will help you lose weight faster and faster each time you do this work out and…



Losing 10 pounds in 10 days greatly depends on how overweight you are so if you are trying to ONLY lose your last 10 pounds then don't really expect to lose your last 10 pounds in 10 days now generally if you are just starting a weight loss plan where you are more than 30 pounds overweight then yes…



You will more than likely lose 10 pounds in 10 days when doing this bike workout for 10 minutes 1-to-6 times per day along with a basic weight loss diet plan.

Day 1



This is the day 1 military diet meal plan. It contains around 1,300 calories.



Breakfast:



* 1 slice of Wholegrain toast with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter.



* 1/2 Grapefruit.



* 1 cup of coffee or tea.



Lunch:



* A slice of whole grain toast.



* 1/2 cup of Tuna.



* 1 cup of coffee or tea.



Dinner:



* 3-Oz (85 grams) serving of any meat



* 1 cup of green beans.



* 1 small apple.



* 1/2 banana.



* 1 cup Vanilla ice cream.



Day 2



Here is what you should be eating on the three day military diet day 2 menu. It contains around 1,100 calories.



Breakfast:



* 1 slice of toast (whole grain).



* 1 hard-boiled egg.



* 1/2 banana.



Lunch:



* 1 hard-boiled egg.



* A cup of cottage cheese.



* 5 saltine crackers.



Dinner:



* 2 hot dogs without bun.



* 1/2 cup of carrots and 1/2 cup of broccoli.

Day 3



Here is the breakdown of day 3 menu. It contains around 1,000 calories.

Hello everyone! It's Christina. I've been wanting to try this "Military Diet" for a while now, and I finally decided to do it! According to this diet, you can lose up to 10 pounds in 3 days! Crazy right? I personally think it’s a good way to train yourself to eat smaller portions. Results usually vary. As you saw in the video, I substituted some of the foods out with substitutions from the website: http://themilitarydiet.com/military-diet-substitutions/



This video is just to show you guys my experience and results from this diet.

My advice would be to continue eating healthy after, or you'll end up gaining the weight back, if not more. Also remember to drink lots of water throughout the day!
